Blak Pulp is a Philly-born creation of passion, sweat and creativity: comics, characters and a multiverse built by its creators and its fans together.
Where it started
Comics have always been a passion of mine. Hell, I drew my first one in 3rd grade and wrote my first in 7th.
Were they great? Absolutely not. Were they part of my catalyst to head to art school? Absolutely, they were.
Blak Pulp is currently in production of a redesign of the lore and the characters.
Why we exist
To give fresh storytellers a place to launch their universe and a community to create it with.
Their heroes are necessary.
A story of cosmic proportions
To provide modern myths from lovers of the craft and culture of illustrated mythology, we need a big story. There’s a table in eternity where creatives discuss the fabric of existence.
We curate and publish independent IPs with the spirit of 2000s manga production collectives and the cause of self-ownership, then wrap them in a story created by the creatives and the fans together.
